The participants are all contributors to the volume Dream of Venice Architecture (2016, Bella Figura Publications). The book is second in a series that has been developed by JoAnn Locktov to celebrate Venice as a contemporary living city.

This event is free and open to the public. Proper attire is required.

Louise Braverman, FAIA, is an award-winning New York based architect who has been invited to exhibit at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012, 2014, and 2016.

Cynthia Davidson was the co-curator of the USA Pavilion for the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. She is a writer and editor of the international architectural journal Log and the Writing Architecture series of books published by MIT press.

James Biber, FAIA, designed the USA Pavilion at Expo Milan in 2015. His firm has designed a wide range of projects from private residences and museums, to restaurants and schools.

Max Levy, FAIA, is known for buildings that bring nature into play. His widely published work has received numerous local, state, and national design awards.
