Slow Wine Guide - 2017 US Tour
On February 1, join us for a walk-around wine tasting featuring Slow Wine. Throughout the evening, we will eat, drink, and learn about the importance of Slow Food's sister organization, toasting to 10 years of Eataly.
Slow Wine supports and promotes wine that is good, clean, and fair. Just like the food we eat, wine is an agricultural product that affects the lives of the people who produce it, as well as on the environment (pesticides, herbicides and excessive water use are all too common in conventional wine production). Slow Wine works with small-scale Italian winemakers who follow traditional and sustainable techniques, work with respect for the environment, and protect Italy's biodiversity of grape varieties.
Our tasting event will celebrate Eataly's decade of partnership with Slow Wine! We are showcasing 80 Slow Wine producers from 15 Italian wine regions. At just $60 per person, tickets include tastes of more than 80 wines paired with salumi, formaggi, pizza, and more. You will also take home a copy of the 2017 edition of the Slow Wine Guide, which introduces more than 400 different wineries across Italy.
