Luca Maestri, Chief Financial Officer of Apple, will open the first of a series of encounters which focus on the excellence of Italian human capital and personal success stories, presenting Italian top managers holding important positions in global companies. He will be in conversation with Maria Teresa Cometto.
Luca Maestri was born in 1963 in Rome. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Luiss University in Rome and a master’s degree in Science of Management from Boston University. Before joining Apple in 2013, he worked for General Motors, Nokia Siemens Networks and Xerox. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions at Apple.
Maria Teresa Cometto is a journalist and award-winning author based in New York. Since 2000 she has been covering business and high-tech for Corriere della Sera, the leading Italian daily, and writing for other important magazines.
