NAFSA: Association of International Educators [2] is the world's largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. NAFSA's 10,000 members are located at more than 3,500 institutions worldwide, in over 150 countries. NAFSA believes that international education advances learning and scholarship, fosters understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and is essential for developing globally competent individuals.
The NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo (this year May 27-June 1, 2018, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) unites nearly 10,000 attendees each year from more than 3,500 institutions and organizations from over 100 countries. It is the most comprehensive international education event serving the diverse needs of the entire international education community.
The Conference will feature outstanding informational engagement opportunities, professional development programs, and the largest international education exposition.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation [3] is involved in the diffusion of the Italian language and civilization and has an important role in supporting and making many foreign students’ dream to study Italian come true. Promoting the Italian language abroad is one of Italy’s principal tools and a key priority in its foreign policy.
A special video was prepared this year for The NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo. You will follow John and Li in their journey.
Thanks to the support of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the incredible work of Gianna Angelini, Piero Paolinelli, Massimiliano Pichierri and the students of Quasar Design University, the video will follow the Italian presence at this important American event.
